Oil, Gasoline, and the Cost of Living Part 1

Friday, May 16, 2008

My Fellow Americans,

I write this Blog today with a heavy heart and troubled soul with regards to the monumental scam being perpetrated upon you the American People. The fraud I refer to is the artificially elevated cost of oil, and gasoline. With oil anticipated to reach $149.00 per barrel this year, and gasoline, approaching $5.00 or more per gallon; and with the very real expectation that it will rise astronomically in the next 2 years, we are in an untenable and emergent situation both economically and politically. To put it bluntly we are being financially raped and plundered by those I will refer to as enemies of the American People, and our beloved country.

Who are these enemies that I refer to? The first that comes to mind is OPEC, and most of the Muslim Nations who belong to OPEC. Make no mistake; these people hate us, with a deep undying hatred. Why do they hate us? Because we dare to do that which is right and defend Israel, and its right to exist. There are those who would argue that my statement is untrue, those who believe that my statement is untrue, are either naive or dishonest or both. There is plenty of impericle evidence that proves that we are hated by OPEC, the Muslim World and their allies. Does the image of 9/11 come to mind, as millions of Muslims danced in the streets upon hearing about the tragedy that struck our country on that fateful day?

Who are some of the other enemies of the American People that I referred to? The far left liberal environmentalists come to the forefront as they have blocked every effort to continue to explore and drill for new resources of oil. They have been the dishonest purveyors of the grand myth and hoax called Global Warming. Do not get me wrong we definitely have a responsibility to do all we can with in reason to keep pollution in check, but we have a greater responsibility to ensure that the American People are able to make a decent living, govern their own destiny and financial future, and decide the policies that affect their financial foundations.

The far left environmentalist do not have the right to dictate to the American People with regards to their financial future. They do not have the right to dictate fiscal or energy policy for the American People and stipulate through their misbegotten agenda what we will pay for fuel, or even if we should be allowed to use fossil fuels. It is we the American People who should decide these issues on a grassroots level. We are the directors of our own destiny, not the far left special interests, or foreign interests in the form of OPEC or the Muslim Wahabi Lobby.

Yet, it seems that the overwhelming majority of the American People have not held their government responsible for the mess we are now in, it seems that We The People have forgotten that this is a country that is supposed be a government that is accountable to the People. We are supposed to remind our leaders that they lead at our sufferance; that the government is supposed to be a government that is for the People, by the People, and of the People.

It has been some time since We the People have truly taken responsibility for the state of our nation and our economy, we have instead allowed the status quo politicians to dictate to us who we are as a people, and determine the course of our Nation. Corrupt politicians, who are beholding to special interests, and foreign interests, have sold us out and the sad thing is that we let them.

We the People have abdicated our authority by electing leaders who deceive us and blow smoke in our ear, telling us what we want to hear. All the while they pursue the corrupt agenda’s that they formulated in the darkness of backroom politics. Make no mistake about it, the so called leaders that we elected are also the enemies of the American People, they have betrayed us, and we let them. We let them do what they have done, we let them refuse accountability; we have not risen up as ONE VOICE, to demand that the backroom deals stop and that they be accountable to us, to We The People.

The question is put to us the American People with every gallon of gasoline we put in our car, with every trip to the market we take only to witness the astronomical cost of living due to high fuel prices; What are we going to do about it? How long will it be until we decide that we will not be victimized any longer by the untenable and unsustainable situation we find ourselves in?

With Sincere Regards,
To you the American People.
